Oldie but Goodie

I have had the card parts to this card in my basket for ions. It was a inspired by a card that AngFab made for a swap I was in. Remember the Paper Crimper? Do you see how I used that?
That goes to show you how long I have had the card parts waiting to be used.
So, today when I was putzing around my stash, it dawned on me to make the card. So I added the ribbon and the flower. The sad part is this...everytime I was in my stash, I would see the card parts and think of AngFab. Now that the card is done and will soon be sent to someone, I will only have this picture to look at and think about how Fab AngFab is. And GUESS WHAT?
It just so happens that tomorrow is her birthday. Is that weird that I would finish this card right before her birthday? I couldn't have planned it better if I had to. Tomorrow is her birthday, so go on over to her blog and wish her a Happy Birthday!!

Riley Rules!

I am having sooooooooo much fun with my Riley stamp. Don't you love it when you get a stamp and just go WILD with it? It makes me happy to stamp with this Riley stamp. He sits in his chair just as cute as can be and has his coffee cup and cupcake! Life can't get much better than a cute moose like Riley.....OH the life of Riley. Well, this one has that cute ruler paper and coordinating

paper. Instead of buttons, I added some brads to the card front. I hope you can find some time to sit and relax with a cup of coffee and cupcake ....I plan to take a break and go sit in my comfy chair. Thanks for stopping by this afternoon. I will be stamping after supper.......for sure.

Cool Cat

This card was my after dinner card. My friend Lana got me to using that saying cuz that is what she says when she makes an after dinner card. I remembered that I needed a Thank You for a parent at school for tomorrow. So making cards is doing school work!! >insert big grin<
It is so easy to make cards when the paper is in a coordinated pack like this Junkitz paper Padz that I am obsessed with now. I added some buttons that I threaded with the hemp twine.
Do you thread your buttons on your cards or do you leave your buttons naked? I have one more card in my head and then I am wrapping up the stamping. I will post my last card of the evening tomorrow morning. See you then. Thanks for stopping by.

Baby cards

I have been making baby cards all weekend. These are cards I did with a yellow theme.

I got the stamp at Michaels. I just love the stamp. It is so cute.

Southwestern meets Cuttlebug

I had this southwestern image for ever....And when I came across it in my stamps, I knew I had to use it to make some cards for my son who is in college.
I knew I wanted to use this cuttlebug with the image...but what sealed the deal .....was when I saw this card in Anne's Gallery over at SCS. She had inked over her cuttlebug and so I liked that idea and used it on this card. I think that was a run on sentence. LOL

First Card of the Day!

I love the weekends because it gives me time to stamp. I could be cleaning the house, but why do that when you can stamp. A domestic Goddess I am not! I received this cute image from my friend Lana!

I colored it with copic markers and also colored the brads with the copic markers to match the colors of the card. I love my copic markers. I just love them.

Yummy cupcakes!

I am just sooooooo excited about these cupcake stamps!!! I bought them from eP here.
It is a stamp set called Hey There Cupcake which is an eP exclusive set. So many cup cake images to play with from this set.
I chose pink/chocolate theme for these. I stamped the images and colored with copic markers.
I used SU Pretty in Pink paper and their scallop punch. I framed the images with SU Chocolate Chip paper. Just added some ribbon and brads. I like how using different layouts change the look of the card. I also like that these cupcakes are calorie free!! LOL!

Speed Stamping!!

For those of you who know me...I am not a speed stamper. But I was lucky enough to spend some time with one. So I challenged a group of friends to speed stamp this week end. These cool cats were images I received from a swap image exchange. I knew that they would be the best images to use on multiples of cards. I colored them in with copic markers. ( I love coloring with the copics!!) I can just add a sentiment as needed.
I will be stamping tonite as I watch the Oscars...so I can speed stamp another set of cards.

Coffee with Riley

I just love coloring in this moose. Love him to pieces. Who wouldn't want to sit down and have a cup of coffee and a cupcake with him? I also love putting the wider ribbon on cards. Well, it is Friday and we all hung in there and got to the weekend. I hope your weekend is warm and cozy!!

Its a 4 day Weekend!!!

This card looks like all of us leaving work today....It is a 4 day weekend for me and wow is that gonna mean some stamping time!
I was gifted the image from my friend HB. I colored the bugs with copics. I used the SU photo corner punch to embellish the matted image. Of course, buttons with fiber, are a favorite embellishment to use.

Isn't that the cutest little suitcase you've ever seen? It was a gift from my mom for Christmas. I just love it. Thanks, mom, everytime I look at it, I think of you.

Today was Valentine's Day at school. Here is my Everything I Ever needed to know, I learned in Kindergarten story. One of the boys was passing out his valentines and he had definitely hand picked each one special for his friends. He would make a comment to each friend. I just LOLed when he said to one of the boys, You get the funny one!!! And without skipping a beat, the boy just started howling with laughter. So, if your friend says, here is something funny...take time to howl with laughter. You will feel good and so will your friend.

Riley is in the House!!!

I was lucky enough to go to a Girlfriend Stamping Get Away last weekend and stamped some images from that weekend. I colored Riley with copics. Then this weekend, while I was shopping for Valentines at Wally World, I came across these St.Patricks mugs and a bag of the New color of Love of M and M's.

This card reminds me of when you go out and celebrate your birthday and the waiter brings you a decadent dessert and everyone tries some.......cuz we all know...birthday calories don't count.
