Two Birthday cards to share

I finally stamped this weekend. The first card's banner came out pink in the photo...IRL it is red. I used a sketch for this card from my friend Lana. I love her style. The second card was made for a friend at work who had a birthday. I need to stamp more bday cards to put in my stash of cards. Thanks for stopping by.

Busy with Projects!!

Here are a few projects I have been working on this summer.
This is a recipe box that I altered and added this apron to. It was inspired by Sweet Miss Daisy on the Crafty Secrets website. I am trying to organize my recipes and I think this recipe box will do the trick!

I am into coupons. My friend, Lana, got me started on coupons. I love using them. I made this project to hold the coupons that I will be taking to the store for that shopping trip. I covered the clothespin with paper and attached a magnet. That way, I will have them on the refrigerator ready for my grocery shopping.

This note card set was a lot of fun to make. I don't know who I will give it to, but I think it will make a special gift for someone.

Thanks for stopping by. I know it is summer and there are so many things to do. I hope you are enjoying a few minutes to create some art. (Isn't that the phrase that Wendy V. always says: go create art.) I like that.
Have a great day!

7 Gypsies Pages

What are your favorite ways to embellish your photo albums? I have picked three pages from my album to show you. (Of course, in uploading...I forgot the pictures will post in backwards order.)
The top picture is the opened page of the middle picture post. I attached a sticker tag from the  7 Gypsies : Hudson Valley Scrapbook Paper Pack to this page.
The middle picture is the page with the tag closed.
The last picture is using transparencies. I stapled the two transparencies from the 7 Gypsies transparencies: Journal pack. I added a tag inside the pocket. Tag is from the 7 Gypsies tags: Vintage. I punched two holes on the right side to add the little dangle. Again, 7 Gypsies Binding ring: Ring Dangles: Sapphire collection.
Do you like to buy coordinated supplies for your projects? I sure do. I am enjoying my stash of 7 Gypsies recent purchases.
It is going to be another HOT day. I think I will stay inside in the AC and create something to post for tomorrow. Staying cool and drinking lots of water is on the to do  list for today.
Thanks for stopping by. :)

7 Gypsies Album cover

Do you like making your own albums? I am just starting to try my hand at it. This is the cover for my summer photos/journaling and what nots. I will be sharing the inside pages this week for all of you to view. I was inspired when my friend, Sam, showed me a 7 Gypsies album on display at Archivers this week. This is my first project of the summer and I have to say...I am having lots of fun with it. More photos tomorrow.  Thanks for stopping by.

The items dangling from the binder rings are: a t!m charm set I made at CHA last summer, a stained glass project that Pine taught me last summer and the 7g danglies that they sell at Archivers.
