Baby cards

I have been making baby cards all weekend. These are cards I did with a yellow theme.

I got the stamp at Michaels. I just love the stamp. It is so cute.

I got Mail!!!

I was a happy camper when I came home from work on Friday!!! I got mail. The above cards were there waiting for me. Well, to be honest, the top card was addressed to my dog, Boomer.

My friend Anne who brings sunshine and humor into my life, sent my dog this card. She stamped the embossed image on newspaper and the little wrapped newspaper on the side was so clever. Cute. cute. cute.

Then my friend Debby sent me the next card I posted. She used such soft colors with this card..it was a delight to hold. Her note inside made me feel so wonderful. She too brings laughter and love into my life.

I had a really LONG work week to say the least and to come home to "You've got Mail"....just was the nicest thing. It reminded me that I need to send out more cards.

I am speed stamping today and will hopefully post my cards tomorrow.

I love the weekend.....it means stamping time for me!!

Southwestern meets Cuttlebug

I had this southwestern image for ever....And when I came across it in my stamps, I knew I had to use it to make some cards for my son who is in college.
I knew I wanted to use this cuttlebug with the image...but what sealed the deal .....was when I saw this card in Anne's Gallery over at SCS. She had inked over her cuttlebug and so I liked that idea and used it on this card. I think that was a run on sentence. LOL

I just made three more cards for the day!!

First Card of the Day!

I love the weekends because it gives me time to stamp. I could be cleaning the house, but why do that when you can stamp. A domestic Goddess I am not! I received this cute image from my friend Lana!

I colored it with copic markers and also colored the brads with the copic markers to match the colors of the card. I love my copic markers. I just love them.

I hope your First card of the day is as fun to make as this one was!

Yummy cupcakes!

I am just sooooooo excited about these cupcake stamps!!! I bought them from eP here.
It is a stamp set called Hey There Cupcake which is an eP exclusive set. So many cup cake images to play with from this set.
I chose pink/chocolate theme for these. I stamped the images and colored with copic markers.
I used SU Pretty in Pink paper and their scallop punch. I framed the images with SU Chocolate Chip paper. Just added some ribbon and brads. I like how using different layouts change the look of the card. I also like that these cupcakes are calorie free!! LOL!
